YORUBA NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, ‘OGUNJIMI' IN RAPE SCANDAL ...ARRESTED!

Nollywood Yoruba actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi a.k.a Ogunjimi has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command for allegedly raping one of his daughter’s friends at Osogbo, his home town.

Reports has it that the Yoruba actor, known for violent roles in Yoruba films was arrested last Tuesday by the Police and detained at the Oke-Baale division of the Nigeria Police, after the victim had reported him. According to a competent Police source, the actor had been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) of the state police command for further interrogation on the matter.

After medical experts examined the victim on the directives of the police, their report proved that Ogunjimi forcibly had carnal knowledge of the 22 year old girl (name withheld).

Sources said the victim and her mother who was allegedly victimized out of her matrimonial home were living with Ogunjimi at his Osogbo residence and he was responsible for their upkeep until recently the victim’s mother left her with Ogunjimi in Osogbo and relocated to Lagos.

It was gathered that after the rape, the victim reported the incident to the police alongside some residents of the area.
