 Shybellmediaonline.blogspot.com has it that, there was serious riot at Caleb University, Imota Lagos last night. Unconfirmed gist has it that the riot started when a Muslim student who was saying his prayers was disrupted by one of the porters in the male hostel.

Source revealed authoritatively that it doesn’t have any religious reason.

Information has it that the riot was caused by excessive rules and maltreatment on the students. According to source "University is not a secondary school, they should not treat us like kids. The anger of the students was heightened when a number of boys were forced to cut their hair and others given suspension because of hairstyle, this was what let to the demonstration. They even brought food to the girl’s hostel feeding them for free".

The students went on a rampage destroying school property. The school according to its website is a Christian University. Few hours ago, the Management of the school ordered the students to vacate the campus and await further instructions. More information has the event unfolds.
