For the fifth
consecutive year, Musicom Entertainment, LLC, in collaboration with Arik Air,
presents LWKMD (Laugh Wan Kill Me Die) 2014 North America Comedy Tour hosted by
the multiple award-winning international comedian and artist JEDI. LWKMD Comedy
Tour is a unique, intimate, electrifying experience that features Nigerian and African
comedians.
According to the
host, JEDI, the show is “…a family friendly comedy event that promotes cultural
awareness about talents of African descent to individuals and families in the
Diaspora.” Alongside the main act JEDI, the lineup for this year’s LWKMD Comedy
Tour will include Basorge, Helen Paul, DeDon, Igos, Emeka Smith, Akpororo, Arthur
Simeon (Uganda), Wamilele, Seyi Brown, Babatunde. DJTee Films will be covering the
tour’s documentary/video production, and the award-‐winning DJ Don X will be the
tour’s official DJ. The LWKMD Comedy Tour kicks off on Canada Day, Tuesday, July
1, 2014 in Toronto Canada, as the official opening event for the 2014 Independence
Week celebrations.
The
tour will then stop in Washington, DC, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, and Atlanta, GA.
