Drama occur early hour of today, Tuesday, when an official of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) identified as Asorona allegedly beat up a motorist to convulsion at Ketu bus stop in Lagos at about 7:30am.
According to eyewitness,
the LASTMA official stopped the driver, who he claimed had violated traffic
rules, removed him from the car and allegedly assaulted him.
While he was
doing this, his colleagues seized the man’s car.
While the
assault was ongoing, reports have it that, the driver fell down on the road
into convulsion. Source revealed that he was shaking like an epileptic patient.
The LASTMA
official however, tried to flee the scene but was stopped by passersby who
insisted he must stay there to see what happens to the man.
There are no
reports on the outcome on the driver and what caused the convulsion as at time
of this publication.

Gross abuse of power!! Whatever the driver did the worst they should have done is to arrest him and impound his vehicle!! There is no justification on earth for physical assault!! The man should sue LASTMA and the Lagos State Government... There are many lawyers who would love to pursue his case for a percentage of whatever he is awarded!!!
