It was a tragedy last nite, Wednesday, 25th of June, 2014 in Apapa, Lagos. At least four people were killed after two explosions ripped through Apapa, Lagos with scores injured.
According to eyewitness report, the explosions occurred almost simultaneously. The first explosion happened at the front of Folawiyo tank farm, while the other happened inside the Folawiyo tank farm.
The explosions were caused by tankers carrying petroleum products. It was learnt that the explosion killed at least four people dead and left scores injured.
The explosion inside the terminal was quickly put out but the extent of damage is yet to be revealed.
The Lagos State Police confirmed the incident. Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said she learnt about the tanker explosions but could not give further details of the explosion.

She noted that she will get a clearer picture of the explosion from the Divisional Police Officer of the area who visited the scene of the incident.
